Constellation Networks’ Hypergraph Hour Episode 38: A Deep Dive
Welcome to another exciting episode of Constellation Networks’ Hypergraph Hour. In this episode, we’re introduced to Cyberlete, a company aiming to create the first fair gaming ecosystem by monitoring participating client’s in-game actions to prevent bad actors in e-Sports.
Cyberlete’s Vision
Cyberlete’s vision is to combine secure, user-owned, proof of identity with an interoperable social platform, allowing gamers to compete fairly and be rewarded for it. The company is developing an anti-cheat software and an API plug-in for game developers, tournament, and community organizers. This software will collect gamer-specific data, which will then be used to feed their AI/ML system to detect and prevent cheating.
The Problem with Cheating in Gaming
One of the main issues in the gaming industry is cheating. Whether you’re playing competitive games or just enjoying a casual session of Call of Duty after work, you’re likely to encounter a cheater at some point. This not only ruins the fun but also poses a significant problem for competitive gaming events, where different sets of competitive rules apply, and anti-cheat systems are often too expensive to implement.
Cyberlete’s Solution
Cyberlete’s solution to this problem is twofold. First, they plan to implement a Know Your Customer (KYC) system for people who come onto their competitive platform. This will prevent cheaters from creating multiple accounts and repeatedly cheating in tournaments. Second, they’re developing an AI/ML anti-cheat system that will analyze user data to distinguish between human and inhuman actions, thus identifying cheaters.
The Role of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency
Blockchain and cryptocurrency play a crucial role in Cyberlete’s ecosystem. The company’s entire system requires a decentralized network to validate the data, and Constellation’s Hypergraph provides the perfect solution for this. The Hypergraph can scale appropriately to handle the vast amount of data generated by gamers, ensuring the integrity and security of the system.
Furthermore, Cyberlete plans to use a cryptocurrency, the Lead token, as part of their system. This token will be used to reward gamers based on the data they generate, creating a unique gamer economics system. This approach not only incentivizes fair play but also allows for micro payments and automated payments tied directly to the metadata.
Cyberlete’s Roadmap
Cyberlete has a clear roadmap for their project. They’ve already started engaging with the community and have grown their follower base significantly. Their machine learning and anti-cheat system are complete, and they’ve begun their marketing campaign. They’re now moving into phase two, where they’ll be taking on users from the community to help test in alpha mode. Once they’ve worked out the bugs, they plan to run promotional tournaments and start working on the league side of things.
In the final phase, they plan to move to main net, activate their economy, and reward gamers. They’re also closely working with some metaverses interested in using their platform to bring valid users to their platform.
Final Thoughts
Cyberlete’s vision for a fair gaming ecosystem is ambitious and innovative. By leveraging the power of blockchain, AI/ML, and cryptocurrency, they’re addressing a significant issue in the gaming industry and paving the way for a more equitable and enjoyable gaming experience.
