Does Snowflake recognise retailers outside of the U.S for example the U.K? (HH45)

Yes. Currently if you see Constellations listing on Snowflake it only shows the U.S but it is worldwide and they can work with any country.
Once the Datapreneurs are deploying their sensors and data travels to Snowflake, the listing will grow and show many more countries.

If sliding doors have a sensor already placed in the centre, how would we mount the DTM if we cat place it also in the centre? (HH45)

You can place the sensor just off centre and it will work perfectly.
If your ever unsure when mounting, take a picture of the customers door way and send it into Constellations support channel and they can look at it and advise on the place to mount.

Should I get a DTM or a 'full' DAG shard/node?

This is really based on your individual situation.

A few points to consider:

A full node is currently more expensive than a DTM. As of writing the Softnode outputs around 4,300 DAG while the DTM outputs around 160 - 180 DAG a day on average, which is 4,800 - 5,400 in a 30 day month.
Softnode staking is subject to change to operational Nodes so the rewards are subject to change depending on uptime and other factors.
DTM owners are growing in numbers and that means more owners receiving a share of the rewards pool. More owners means the pool is shared out to a greater number of people.
Exact numbers of what a Node/ Shard will generate once fully assigned to a state channel and what a DTM placed in a retail store will generate from data sales is still unknown.
Final Note: The DTM is currently a lot cheaper, but the markets are very volatile at the moment and no one knows which of the future earnings of each either a Node/Shard or a DTM will be higher. It more depends on which one can you afford and which one is right for you as a DTM will take some leg work to be placed in its optimal earning location of a retail/ commercial location.

DTM stands for Dôr Traffic Minor.
A DTM is a people counting device that is placed among a STANDARD sized door way and collects foot traffic data.
Using thermal imagery it anonymously counts how many people come in and out while staying GDPR/ HIPPA compliant.
Owning and placing a DTM above a door way will generate rewards in the form of DAG tokens.

Can you please elaborate on the differences in purpose, function, and role that the "Babel" language has versus "StackF" that has been mentioned in previous HypergraphHour sessions? Also, are they both based on Scala (JVM)? Is there any other use case specific languages within the ecosystem?

Just trying to understand the use cases for the two.

1. Are they both considered domain specific languages?

2. What kind of computations can be conducted by nodes at the behest of state channels? Can the network be used as a generic distributed computing platform or is that not in scope?
