It is roughly 20 seconds for every transaction.$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=256&qa_1=what-is-the-time-to-finality-on-the-hypergraph-network&show=270#a270Thu, 06 Jan 2022 07:56:24 +0000Answered: How many Dag will you need to run a lite node

This information hasn't been released yet. Stay tuned!$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=252&qa_1=how-many-dag-will-you-need-to-run-a-lite-node&show=253#a253Mon, 25 Oct 2021 01:18:07 +0000Answered: How dag get its value if there is no fees for transactions and use of network?
https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=243&qa_1=how-dag-get-its-value-there-fees-for-transactions-and-network&show=244#a244
State Channels are companies built on the Hypergraph. They need to pay to pass any data through the Hypergraph by either market buying DAG per transaction or by paying Node Operators to transact their data for them. State Channels offer Node Operators Rewards from their own token or any other token they decide to reward with (possibly multiple token types). State Channels will want to ensure they are rewarding well to convince Node Operators to provide the service from their Node.<br />
<br />
Using this method to pay for the Hypergraph allows companies to have a logical way to implement a cryptocurrency into their business structure. Without the need to worry about inflating unpredictable gas fees. The Hypergraph is also able to handle many transactions all at once, unlike blockchains that are easily bottlenecked.$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=243&qa_1=how-dag-get-its-value-there-fees-for-transactions-and-network&show=244#a244Sat, 11 Sep 2021 14:35:34 +0000Answered: What is a DAG Chad and how do I become one?
https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=239&qa_1=what-is-a-dag-chad-and-how-do-i-become-one&show=240#a240
1. Own and HODL at least one $DAG.<br />
<br />
2. Try to educate yourself on Constellation Network and what technology it has to offer the world.<br />
<br />
3. Help educate others and guide them to become DAG Chads.<br />
<br />
4. Be there for each other in the community and squash any FUD about Constellation Network that is spread from uneducated haters.$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=239&qa_1=what-is-a-dag-chad-and-how-do-i-become-one&show=240#a240Sat, 14 Aug 2021 23:21:16 +0000Answered: I am searching for the most recent HyperGraph Hours but in podcast format, where are they?

https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=232&qa_1=able-to-run-multiple-nodes-if-have-enough-dag-one-node-per-user&show=233#a233
Yes! For every 250k DAG you have, you can have another node.$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=232&qa_1=able-to-run-multiple-nodes-if-have-enough-dag-one-node-per-user&show=233#a233Wed, 28 Jul 2021 15:15:48 +0000Answered: Where do I actually purchase a 2.0 node?-have 250k DAG -will use a VPS after purchase approved--thank you
https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=230&qa_1=where-actually-purchase-will-after-purchase-approved-thank&show=231#a231
If you have 250k dag, you just need to wait until further instructions are provided. As stated in the tokenomics, the whitelist has been dropped for node 2.0 and anyone with the requisite amount of dag will be able to run a node. Apart from the cost of running a vps, you don't need to "purchase" a node.$DAG - Constellationhttps://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=230&qa_1=where-actually-purchase-will-after-purchase-approved-thank&show=231#a231Tue, 27 Jul 2021 00:12:47 +0000Answered: Is it true that Constellation will be running light nodes? Is there more information?
https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=218&qa_1=true-constellation-running-light-nodes-there-information&show=219#a219
This is a popular topic! As of this writing (7/17/2021) we don't have any details about LIGHT NODES (release) on the HGTP. The speculation is that they could be run from a phone and speculation that it would require a lower collateral of Constellation $DAG to do so. You will want to stay up to date via Twitter and or Telegram channels for these notifications.$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=218&qa_1=true-constellation-running-light-nodes-there-information&show=219#a219Sat, 17 Jul 2021 17:08:56 +0000Answered: Looking for podcast style links to the Hypergraph Hours (HH), are they here?

https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=171&qa_1=where-is-the-node-rewards-calculator&show=186#a186
You can calculate the amount of rewards you could possible receive by running a DAG Validator Node using this spreadsheet created by Ekthelius the Accumulator. It is based on information we currently know about Nodes 1.0. It may not be completely accurate for Nodes 2.0 and does not take State Channels into account. But it should give you a good idea of how Nodes calculate rewards. You just need to input the amount of nodes running as a DAG Validator Node and the token price at the time. Remember, the token value will be much higher with the amount of Nodes that are purchased and Nodes 2.0 opens up State Channels that all have their own rewards pools that Node Operators can choose to be on. So not every Node would be collecting from the same reward pool.<br />

https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=165&qa_1=qu%C3%A9-es-un-canal-estatal&show=166#a166
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />

Hello there fellow community member! Based on Wyatt's discussion in HyperGraph hour #23 (see YouTube), as long as your node isn't down for long period of time and/or frequently offline, there will be little to no issue when you need to update your server for each node. If, for example, you were to have frequent and multiple instances where the network noted your node down then you would possibly get a lower PRO score and or your node bounced off the network. Again, we need more details once we get near the Node 2.0 launch. https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=115&qa_1=what-are-the-risks-on-your-%24dag-tokens-while-running-a-node&show=158#a158
Hello and thanks so much for presenting a valid question related to DAG nodes! The 250K $DAG is collateral to be held in the designated node wallet (your wallet). You never risk loss of your collateral by allowing it to serve as node collateral on the network. I would say ultimately the biggest risk, for anyone using an online wallet even fiat based, is the persistent scammers attempting to gain access to your wallet. You can remove your node collateral at any time you so desire as it isn't LOCKED. Just remember that snapshots happen on each node wallet and if the balance drops below 250,000 quantity $DAG, you potentially lose your node (spot/network contribution) and certainly have affected your rewards and PRO score.$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=115&qa_1=what-are-the-risks-on-your-%24dag-tokens-while-running-a-node&show=158#a158Sat, 10 Jul 2021 18:13:22 +0000Answered: Nodes are snapshot every min; does that mean rewards are given every min or once a day total is given .

Thank you for adding a valuable question. I last learned that the Constellation team were in the process of developing a tool to help with tax related node reward issues, in order to help make it more manageable. As to your initial question, yes the rewards drop often through out a 24 hour period. To settle your mind a bit, most times the daily average (cost basis) will suffice for tax reporting purposes versus a token by token value being tagged each minute. More on this to come!$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=156&qa_1=nodes-snapshot-every-that-mean-rewards-given-every-total-given&show=157#a157Sat, 10 Jul 2021 18:08:45 +0000Answered: What happens if a state channel only requires 10 nodes but 100 nodes want to stake on that state channel, how is it decided which nodes are chosen?

The number of nodes required for a state channel is effectively up to a state channel and could fluctuate as a company's bandwidth needs increase or decrease. Some of this was covered in HyperGraph Hour #23 if you want to find it on YouTube. <br />

<div dir="auto" style="caret-color: rgb(34, 34, 34); color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This depends on the type of node you are running. https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=93&qa_1=how-high-are-the-rewards-for-running-a-dag-node&show=94#a94
<div dir="auto" style="caret-color: rgb(34, 34, 34); color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This can not be answered precisely right now as it depends on many factors like the type of node you run, your PRO score (proof of reputable observation) which itself is affected by many factors such as uptime and most significantly it depends on the total number of nodes (as a fixed amount is split between all nodes). "ekthelius_the_accumulator" has done a great job on a spread sheet which he is updating regularly (just use the search function in DAG traders telegram and search for "speculative income calculator"). You can play with the numbers there and calculate your potential rewards based on price, number of total nodes and number of nodes you are running yourself.</div>$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=93&qa_1=how-high-are-the-rewards-for-running-a-dag-node&show=94#a94Mon, 21 Jun 2021 22:17:54 +0000Answered: Will there be different types of nodes?

https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=63&qa_1=what-is-the-energy-usage-of-constellation-compared-bitcoin&show=64#a64
This is a great question!<br />
<br />
The core team is actually working on getting an official answer in that at this time and will be releasing that information soon.<br />
<br />
I can give my unofficial answer right now and then update the information here when the official answer is available.<br />
<br />
Constellation's Hypergraph Network has a very low Carbon Footprint for many reasons.<br />
<br />
1. Unlike Bitcoin the Hypergraph will have a set of rules to follow when it comes to being a Node Operator. On Bitcoin anyone can build a system and run a mining rig from home. Whereas Constellation recommends (and possibly will make mandatory) that all nodes be run from a VPS on DigitalOcean or Amazon Web Services (AWS). Both of these companies are trying to be as Green as possible.<br />
<br />
2. The way $DAG is handled is much less intense then Bitcoin and the Hypergraph Network gets faster and more efficient as it gets busier.$DAG - (English)https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=63&qa_1=what-is-the-energy-usage-of-constellation-compared-bitcoin&show=64#a64Fri, 14 May 2021 00:07:54 +0000Answered: How can I become a $DAG Node operator?
https://dagchads.com/faq/index.php?qa=49&qa_1=how-can-i-become-a-%24dag-node-operator&show=50#a50
Nodes 2.0 will be available in Q3 this year. <br />
<br />
You will need to have 250,000 DAG as collateral to run a node. <br />
<br />
More details can be read in the Tokenomics 2.0 paper here:<br />
