Can the DTM be housed in an enclosure to protect it from the elements and still work properly? (HH45)

Question and answer taken from Hypergraph Hour 45:

• You can cover the outside but cant cover the sensor face as it is thermal.
• Materials that let thermal light through are not tested to see if it will still work.
• Not a use case that is tested.
