As devices improve to Version 2, what is the upgrade path? (HH45)

Question and answer taken from Hypergraph Hour 45:

• There will be an upgrade path, but as of now the details aren't materialised yet.
• For reiteration, the hardware will not change majorly. In the next two years the cellular version will be available and that will have to be purchased, but the majority of the upgrades will be happening on the software side.
• Everyone always has access to the newest software updates and firmware updates. You will always be able to upgrade, and Constellation will never charge for  software updates.
